I did it! I got to day 600 of my running streak. To commemorate this day I asked my friends on Facebook to run for me and post their mileage. It was exciting to see people run anywhere from 20 miles to swim 1.5 miles to help me celebrate!!! What a rush!!! For my run on this momentous day I chose to wear my Lululemon Speed Shorts in the pattern named, "Make Davie Crazy" and managed to run 6 miles in 60 minutes.
I never would have made it this far without the support of my family. My parents always watch my kids so that I can run, and my husband never makes a fuss when I tell him to watch the kids in the pool so I can run (like I did today). I also have a circle of amazing friends who have watched my kids, ran with me, applauded me, coerced me, and told me to keep on running. I am truly blessed.
