Dannika's first softball game was on Saturday. She did pretty well considering this was her first game. She's a little traumatized by the fact that "girls" are being used as pitchers (when she played baseball her coach pitched) but other than that seems to be comfortable out on the field.
Mike and I are helping out with her team. It's been really fun for us, probably because we both enjoy baseball/softball and it's more of a fun, no-pressure sport for us (nothing for us to prove). Since bobby sox was my first team sport and I was always coached by my parents this experience has been especially close to my heart.
